• Interest in Convective Boundary Layer estimation.
• Signal Processing algorithms and techniques application to data originating in different types of sensors in order to understand the underlying Physical Processes. Sensors such as radiometers, weather radar, and ceilometers.
• Statistical analysis of datasets: component analysis, factorization.
• Design of detectors and estimators, analysis of sensors model bias and variance. Application of Digital Image Processing and Pattern Recognition algorithms for data analysis. Cognitive radio and antenna spectrum analysis.
• Microwave Remote Sensing Retrieval algorithms to infer rain rate, wind speed, and water vapor.
